Power Point: Smart Art
The program Power Point offers a lot a opportunities to structure and visualise your text. But nevertheless a big problem is that many students are not interested in listening and reading a Power Point. That is because, it is necessary for you to create as interesting as possible Power Point Presentations.
It is often the case that the topic you want to talk about is so complex that the students do not understand it. If you then decide to do a Power Point Presentation you have to be aware not just to type all the information in and read them out. That will be boring for your students. You rather have to think about possibilities to visualize the complex content with diagrams for example and very little text.
The tool Power Point offers under the section Smart Art many different possibilities for visualisation. I tried to present the following two sentences with this tool.
1) All three events are closely connected to each other.
2) English has been exported from Great Britain into a lot of countries.
